The Long Weekend, and the Quiet Joy of Just Because
Gardens go in. Porches come back to life. The whole town seems to exhale at once. It's also the perfect season for something we love just as much as the big occasions: flowers for no reason at all.
The first long weekend of the season has a feeling all its own.

The gift that needs no occasion
A small bunch on the kitchen table. A leafy houseplant for a friend settling into a new place. A "just because" bouquet left quietly on a neighbour's step. These are the everyday gestures — small, unhurried, easy to give — and they're often the ones people remember most. Happiness held is the seed; happiness shared is the flower. This weekend feels like a lovely time to share a little.

Calm, green, and easy to love
Our shelves are full right now — fresh seasonal blooms alongside the calm greenery that makes a home feel settled. Ferns and snake plants, trailing hanging plants for a bright windowsill, dried arrangements that hold their colour through the summer. They ask for very little and give back for a long time, which is rather the point of a long weekend.

A reason to wander in
There's no rush and no hard sell here. Come wander the shop, take in the calm, plant-filled space, and let something catch your eye. Or tell us who you're thinking of and we'll put together something small and bright to brighten an ordinary day. Either way, you're always welcome.
